Terms of Service
Please read these terms of service (“terms”, “terms of service”) carefully before participating in this year’s March Caprice event (the “event”). These terms apply to those presenting or submitting content to present during the March Caprice event.

Conditions of Use
We will provide cross-promotional services, including promoting your content across social networks and in other locations online, subject to the conditions stated in this document. By participating in the event, you agree to adhere to these conditions. Failure to adhere to these conditions and instructions from the March Caprice staff may result in you being removed from the event and prevent you from participating in any future events.
Privacy Policy
The event will take place on whatever online location your content is located on. This may include video hosting sites (such as Twitch or YouTube), merchandise stores (such as Fourthwall, Redbubble or Etsy), artist sites (such as DeviantArt or Tumblr), or others. Please review the privacy policy of the site where you will be hosting your content regarding data collection on those sites. March Caprice also currently uses Hubspot for emailing services, please refer to Hubspot’s privacy policy for any data collection inquiries.The March Caprice Website, and any event content, including submissions, will be hosted on WordPress. Please refer to WordPress’ privacy policy for any data collection inquiries.
March Caprice will not be collecting any data through any of these services besides what participants offer to the team, and solely for the purposes of communication.
Code of Conduct
We expect all participants and viewers to adhere to the following code of conduct both while March Caprice is ongoing and during the off season:
- Don’t use or promote hate speech toward any gender identities, sexual orientation, race, age, national identity, or religion.
- Don’t promote pedophilia, incest, beastiality, rape, abuse, or other non-consensual relationships or actions.
- Don’t harass others or promote harassment of others.
- Don’t intentionally cause conflict.
- Don’t promote or portray illegal activities.
- Use your own original work. March Caprice does not hold any liability on participant’s plagiarized materials. If you believe that your work is being used without permission by a participant of the event, please contact us at marchcaprice@gmail.com.
- March Caprice assets may be used for promotional purposes, however, they must not be used for financial profit.
- By signing up for March Caprice, you agree to give permission to March Caprice to use your assets. Your assets will only be used for promotional purposes, and will not be used for financial profit.
- Follow the rules of the websites you are using.
- Listen to instructions provided by March Caprice staff.
- While shipping is allowed in your own space, the promotion of shipping of official KINGDOM HEARTS characters through participants’ work and in commentaries (chat, comments, etc.) is not allowed.
- While NSFW/18+ content (herein “adult content”) is allowed in your own space, promotion of adult content through participants’ work and in commentaries (chat, comments, etc.) is not allowed.
- AI-generated content is not acceptable to submit to March Caprice. This includes text, audio, and visual media. Your submissions will be passed through several checks to ensure nothing submitted to March Caprice includes this mass-scale plagiarism machine.
- Failure to comply with any of the above code can result in temporary to permanent expulsion from the current and any future events. This includes any events, promotions, organizations, etc. that March Caprice may be affiliated with or is involved in the production of. We may do this to anyone, at any time, for any reason. If necessary, law enforcement may be contacted. This may be adjusted at any time, with or without notice.
Presentation responsibility
March Caprice does not take responsibility for the non-event behavior of any participants, defined as behavior that takes place outside the media pieces, merchandise, private or public discussions on social media. The participants do not represent March Caprice, its organizers, our beliefs, our actions, other participants or their beliefs or actions. March Caprice may take non-event behavior into account when considering accepting or denying participation in the event, and any behavior or content on private channels that violates our event standards or may be harmful to others may be grounds for denial.
